Niagen (Nicotinamide Riboside) & NAD+ Reduce Hangover Symptoms
If you enjoy the occasional strong drink or glass of wine you might want to give Nectar7 Niagen a try. There is mounting anecdotal evidence that suggests that Niagen could significantly reduce hangover symptoms. That’s what we’re all about here at Nectar7, improving quality of life and giving you the power to do more!
How might this work?
Without getting into the scientific nuts and bolts, NAD+ plays a part in the process that metabolizes alcohol in the body. Nectar7 Niagen increases NAD+ levels in the mitochondria of the cells. This could allow the body to more efficiently metabolize alcohol thereby reducing hangover symptoms.
Here is a link to a great to a peer reviewed paper at the NCBI that covers how NAD+ levels relate to alcohol toxicity and metabolism: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3484320/

Is Nectar7 Niagen a Miracle Hangover Cure?
We won’t go this far yet but we have heard some pretty amazing stories from Nectar7 customers. We want to make sure that everyone understands that all the potential benefits we are talking about in this article are completely anecdotal (we heard them from our customers and there are many claims on the Internet and social media). We are not aware of any studies or university research focused on this issue but we will certainly update this post if that changes. Here is a general summary of the claims:
- Nectar7 Niagen can completely eliminate what would normally be mild to moderate hangovers in some cases
- Nectar7 Niagen can significantly reduce what would normally be moderate to severe hangover symptoms
- In extreme cases, where relatively large of amounts of alcohol were consumed, Nectar7 Niagen had a negligible affect…. hangover symptoms might have been less severe but it was not perceivable… in other words when you party like it’s 1999 you are going to be severely hungover and it’s hard to tell whether or not symptoms are indeed less severe.
